Bob, your name suddenly came to my mind , as I though of old alumni. Nice to see that you are playing Trad Jasz. I too started a Trad band in Santa Barbara over 10 years ago as a piano player. We are called Ulysses and somehow found a home every sat. night at the James Joyce. (hmmm) we have had down beat every Sat for over 8 years, though a few members have passed on in the last few years. A great style of music, as I had been playing Cont. Jazz piano (Duchn, Schering, Mancini. Evans) but now am in Austin and fighting the demon (Country/Western) might hang up the keyboards for a while until I feel that I NEED to play CW.
